A Few Things to Watch Out For
Now, there’s a trade-off. These high-wattage preheaters pump out a massive amount of infrared energy. You need that heat to get a clean cut through thick glass, but it does make the surrounding housing get very hot. Just make sure your ventilation can handle the extra heat. If the air doesn’t move, those connector seals can fail way sooner than they should. Keep it cool, and the gear stays happy. The best part is how fast this happens.
