Salamander electric Infrared Heaters: The Industrial Heat You Need, Without the Overhead
Picture this: you need heat, but just in one spot. Not the whole warehouse. Not the entire line. Just the right place, at the right time. That’s exactly why we built Salamander electric infrared heaters. They’re made for the grit of industrial work—warming up a machine, keeping a process humming, or thawing a frozen corner of the shop. Fast heat. Steady output. And a footprint small enough to slip into tight spots.
Power, Voltage, and Size—Straight to the Point
We tune these heaters around a clear goal: the right heat density, delivered where you need it. Wattage and voltage are matched so the element hits temperature quickly and stays stable, even when the workload pushes and pulls. And if you need higher voltage—like 400V setups—that choice helps keep wiring practical. Less current for the same power means less voltage drop over the line. The tube length and diameter are chosen to focus the infrared field on the target, not the air around it. In other words: less waste. More useful heat.
Built to Take the Heat: Quartz, Coating, and Smart Connections
Inside, the heating element sits in a quartz envelope. Why quartz? Because it handles rapid heating and cooling without complaining, and it transmits infrared energy cleanly. Then we add a reflective coating on the inner surface. It pushes more output forward, so you get more usable heat right where you point it. On the shop floor, connectors matter more than people think. That’s why we use R7s and Sk15—terminations that are straightforward, secure, and repeatable. Swap a heater, and you’re back up without rewiring or reworking the mount.
What It Feels Like on the Floor
In practice, Salamander heaters deliver serious heat density in a compact package. That makes them ideal for localized heating and quick temperature recovery. Mount it. Wire it. Aim it. Done. But here’s the part worth planning for: high heat density means the surrounding area can warm up. So you’ll want to think through airflow and shielding. And make sure your control and protection circuits match the heater’s electrical specs.
The Peace-of-Mind Part
We stand behind the build. If a unit fails in the first year, we handle the replacement through our global after-sales support and get you back online.
